Keeping over 220 Lidl stores across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland fully stocked is no small task.
That's the job of our regional distribution centres, matching supply and demand 24/7.
With goods of all kinds flowing in and out, including fresh and frozen produce as well as non-food, it's essential that they are received, stored and delivered on time and in excellent condition.
Our regional distribution centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we require staff to cover both day and night shifts.
Your shift pattern will be 5 days out of 7 (including weekends and bank holidays).
Working in the Transport team, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the management of employees in this area of the distribution centre.

What you'll do• Lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives and desk clerks, ensuring high performance and setting clear expectations for daily operations.
• Responsible for the creation of daily transport plans for 70+ stores, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Monitor and manage transportation costs, identifying opportunities for improvement and maintaining strong cost control.
• Develop, implement, and track departmental KPIs to ensure performance goals are met and continuously improved.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team through coaching, training, and development initiatives.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse and transport processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on key performance metrics and operational challenges.
