We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef to join our team.
About the Role
* To prepare meal ingredients, including washing, peeling and chopping vegetables and fruits
* Daily preparation of fresh sandwiches and soups
* To set up for lunch and dinner according to Chef de Parties instruction
* To ensure that food from own station is delivered on time
* To perform basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitised according to HACCP regulation
Requirements
* Previous experience as a kitchen assistant/commis chef and/or suitable qualification
* Knowledge of food health and safety regulations
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification or current student of Culinary Arts
* A passion and genuine interest in food
* Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends, public holidays
* Good command of the English language
