The Client and Overview of the Role:
Our client is a leading Construction Project Management and Quantity Surveying Consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities
* Cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning and reporting.
* Managing and developing junior staff while reporting to Senior Management/Company Directors and internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Construction Economics.
* 7+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a Contracting or Consultancy environment.
* Preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
* Knowledge of Cost Planning.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, Cost X, or Quantity Surveying software.
