We are presently recruiting for an experienced Checkout Supervisor for one of our clients based in West Dublin. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the checkout area, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing the checkout team. The role involves supervising daily activities, training staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring accurate transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving any issues promptly.
2. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
3. Assist customers with any special requests or issues during checkout.
4. Oversee the daily operations of the checkout area, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
5. Monitor cashier performance and ensure accuracy in transactions.
6. Implement and maintain checkout procedures to improve efficiency and reduce wait times.
7. Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed, including accurate cash drawer reconciliations and bank deposits.
Skills & Experience
1. Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
2. Experience in cash handling and customer service.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
4. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
5. Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant software.
6. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
