Job Description
We have partnered with an international asset manager to appoint a Workout Specialist to its Dublin based team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing platform, playing a key role in managing a diverse and expanding portfolio of European Loans. With a strong focus on Pan-European transactions across multiple asset classes, this role offers significant exposure to complex financial structures and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactive performance monitoring of the NPL portfolio, including engagement with servicers
* Collaborating with servicers to optimize individual loan recoveries
* Reviewing deal documentation to assess available options
* Financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
* Monitoring and approving deal expenses
* Supporting larger loan 'Work-Out' scenarios and restructurings
* Potential to take ownership of asset management for the portfolio and oversee a team of support consultants
Candidate Profile:
* Relevant experience in mortgage lending, mortgage servicing, or ABS management
* Strong ability to learn quickly and develop expertise in new NPL asset classes and jurisdictions
* Experience working with loans/NPLs and/or NPL servicers is beneficial
* Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel
* Solid academic background
* Interest in investing and a strong intellectual curiosity in finance
* Ability to form an investment view, take ownership, and drive necessary actions
* Commercial awareness with a basic understanding of financial statements, modelling, and SPV structures

Requirements
• Chartered Surveyor and a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance
• 7-10 years of experience in asset management in the real estate industry
• Strong knowledge of asset management principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
