About the Role
As an Admin Assistant to the Sales Department, you will work closely with the Head of Sales, providing essential support to ensure seamless communication with customers, accurate data management, and well-prepared reports and presentations. You’ll have a meaningful impact on the efficiency and success of our sales function while working in a team-oriented and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Head of Sales with key administrative and operational functions.
2. Manage new product setup on customer systems.
3. Submit promotional forms and assist buying departments with day-to-day queries.
4. Update and distribute sales reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
5. Analyse distribution reports to identify key product and market opportunities.
6. Follow up on action points from customer meetings to keep projects on track.
7. Prepare engaging presentations and reports for meetings and proposals.
8. Attend key customer meetings in a support capacity, ensuring all documentation is handled efficiently.
9. Coordinate product sample shipments, ensuring timely delivery for sales presentations and evaluations.
Who You Are
1. Highly organised and detail-focused, with strong multitasking skills.
2. An analytical thinker, with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends.
3. An excellent communicator, comfortable working with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
4. Tech-savvy, proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and eager to learn customer system platforms.
5. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, proactive and solution-focused.
Preferred but Not Required
1. Experience in sales support, operations, or an administrative role.
2. Familiarity with Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or retail environments.
3. Knowledge of retailer product systems.
