Morgan McKinley is very excited to announce we are searching for talented and ambitious Mechanical Fitters for our client based in South Dublin. Our client is known for high quality Recycling Treatment and its modern, innovative approach to Engineering with the latest technology. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs adhering to safety protocols.
* Inspect, adjust, and repair pumps, fans, and machinery as needed, following instructions from the Lead Mechanic.
* Carry out welding repairs and installations, including piping repairs.
* Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues, maintaining maintenance records.
* Assist in training electrical and mechanical skills with the Lead Mechanic.
* Participate in plant shutdown work, including equipment teardown and inspection.
* Be available for on-call duty and overtime if required.
* Support warehouse and operations personnel when needed.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company procedures and safety policies.
* Contribute to on-site safety and quality initiatives.
* Perform additional duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
* Overtime.
Skills Required:
* Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent.
* Technical ability and detail-oriented attitude is essential.
