OverviewAutomation Systems Manager
Opportunity for an Automation Systems Manager to join our Data Centre team in Dublin.
The Automation Systems Manager is responsible for the management of the Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) from design, interdisciplinary co-ordination, installation, and commissioning, through to Handover.
They will manage the Specialist Systems Integrator (SI) in all elements of their works from Health and Safety, Quality, Design, Pre-construction activities, and Commissioning.
They will co-ordinate and manage the M&E contractor's installations in relation to the BMS and EPMS installations.
Management of these works will be carried out as required by the Project Specific Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems and processes.
The Automation Systems Manager will be required to lead and minute weekly Automation Meetings with the SI and installing contractors, attend design and Client meetings, and attend Commissioning Meetings.
The Automation Systems Manager will be an integral part of the Sisk team and will engage with other members of the CSA and MEP teams to support Automation related works across other works packages.
The Automation Systems Manager will report directly to the Project MEP Leads.
ResponsibilitiesManage the SI design and implementation of the BMS and EPMS.Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver the BMS and EPMS systems to meet project requirements.Manage the SI and Installing contractors.Provide guidance and support to others in the Sisk Teams to ensure the team's success in delivering the project.Develop project plans, including timelines and resource allocation, for the Automation works.Oversee the execution of Automation works, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Understand the clients' expectations for the Automation systems and ensure they are delivered to their requirements.Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex BMS and EPMS issues.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Client, SI, installing Contractors, OFCI Equipment Vendors, CFCI Equipment vendors, Commissioning Agents, and Sisk HSE and QAQC Teams.Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of Automation Systems.ExperienceProven experience in the Management of BMS and EPMS works.Strong leadership and team management skills.In-depth knowledge of BMS technologies, protocols, and industry standards.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Project management experience is a plus.Familiarity with relevant software and programming languages.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Additional InformationCompetitive salary26+ days annual leaveExcellent Benefits PackageAnd much more!Our people are at the heart of our success and our proposition to them is work with purpose, have time for life, build a career with no limits and surround yourself with great people.
