Here at BYD Waterford, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, ambitious individual to join our team as Aftersales Advisor in our BYD showroom on the Inner Ring Road Waterford.

* Experience in customer service/admin role
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Service
* Act as the first point of contact with customers either by telephone, email, or face to face seeking to convert customer queries into, when appropriate, service bookings.
* Generate appropriate documentation in relation to the service booking.
* Meet and greet all customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
* Dealing with the receiving of, and the handback of a vehicle to the customer.
* Agree cost and deadlines with the customer whilst also clarifying issues relating to the service/repair.
* Check on progress of services to vehicles throughout the day and contact customers to communicate and receive approval and authorisation regarding any changes in the cost estimate, promised time of delivery, or recommended services.
* Work as part of a team efficiently and professionally.
* Liaising with other teams in the business: management, reception, warranty, parts, sales.
Parts
* Maintenance of stock including processing parts, deliveries, orders, and returns.
* Dealing with aftersales customers both on the phone and in person.
* Dealing with customer queries.
* General warehouse duties.
* Carry out customer follow-up and prospecting activities to maintain and build the volume of work within the workshop and provide the sale of accessories and parts.
