We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM’s global Product and Technology organization.
SiriusXM’s new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.
We are looking for a SW Test Developer to join our team who is responsible for creating test cases and fixing issues in the SXM test framework. It’s a test automation/SW developer position.
What you’ll do:
1. Create test cases and fix issues in the SXM test framework.
What you’ll need:
* At least 3-5 years of experience in modern C/C++.
* Troubleshooting - Good skills in identifying and resolving technical and networking/communication issues throughout the entire technology stack.
* Experience with automated testing methodologies and frameworks, preferably Google Test.
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
* Skilled in utilizing CMake for efficient build configuration and dependency management.
* Experience with Git.
Nice to have/preferred:
* Understanding of dependency injection and Software Design Patterns.
* Experience with proxy servers and related technologies, Charles (an HTTP proxy/HTTP monitor/Reverse Proxy), and virtualization port tools like VSPE, COM2COM.
* Experience in test automation.
* Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., MSTest, NUnit).
* Familiarity with Rust is optional.
* Experience with Code Coverage tools and procedures is a plus.
* Python skills are beneficial as stress testing and KPIs can utilize Python scripts.
* Ability to work seamlessly across both Linux and Windows development environments, with experience in cross-compilation and Android build tools.
* Experience with embedded systems or device-specific testing frameworks for structured, device-oriented automated test frameworks.
