Job Title: Early Years Educator
Location: Knockbridge, County Louth
We are looking for a loving, caring, qualified Early Years Educator to ensure that we offer excellent childcare in our early learning and care service.
Job Description:
1. Deliver the highest standards of care and education within the classroom and outdoor space adhering to the childcare regulations.
2. Provide positive, loving and meaningful experiences for each child in your care.
3. Encourage children’s development (strengths based approach) through play and emerging interests.
4. Communicate effectively with management and co-workers on a daily basis.
5. Communicate with parents on a daily basis providing feedback and updates on their child in a professional, effective and friendly manner.
6. Ensure the health, safety and protection of the children in your care.
7. Be creative and develop ideas to stimulate the children and document their learning.
8. Uphold an inviting classroom environment.
9. This list is not exhaustive, as additional tasks may be required from time to time.
Requirements:
* Must have a minimum of FETAC level 5 in Early Childhood Education and Care.
* Children’s First E-learning.
* An enthusiastic attitude to working with children.
* Good working knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Regulations, Aistear and Siolta.
* Must be an excellent team player and enjoy working in a large setting.

* Hourly rate starting from €13.65 - €16.28 depending on level of qualification and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €13.65-€16.28 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday.
Education:
* Bachelor's (preferred).
Licence/Certification:
* FETAC/QQI Level 5 (preferred).
