Project Scheduler
We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to join our client, a global pharmaceutical company, for a 12-month contract in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity to work on various projects and collaborate with different teams.
About the Role
The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and maintaining project schedules within the site P6 database. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing end-to-end schedule development and management of all schedule aspects of a project from design through to manufacture, including design, construction, commissioning, and qualification.
* Working closely with Project Engineers, Engineering Design Firms, Construction Management, Commissioning, and Site Operations teams to create and integrate schedules.
* Managing workflows and generating progress reports and metrics for management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, with large-scale project experience desirable.
* Experience using Primavera P6 software.
* Able to review and integrate detailed design, contracts, construction, and commissioning programs.
* Experience in schedule resource loading and development of progress measures using earned value approach.
* Proficient in MS Project Scheduling tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to the above requirements, a university degree or college diploma in Science, Engineering, or a related field would be beneficial. Certification of training course from Oracle in Primavera P6 is also desirable. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a good understanding and experience of project co-ordination & management through the full project lifecycle.
