Business Manager – Strategic Change & TransformationBusiness Manager – Strategic Change & Transformation Location – London/Leeds/DublinPattern of work – Hybrid 2 days per weekThe Business Manager role will be part of the Strategic Change and Transformation leadership team with dual accountability.The Business Manager will partner with our Group COO to build clear narratives for senior leadership. This will include owning creation of high-quality, executive ready materials for Group Ex-Co and Board meetings. These materials will be clear and compelling, both in terms of content and appearance. It will also include developing presentations and reports to aid planning and decision-making processes.In addition, this role will play a key role and will involve working closely with the Strategy team, the Group Director of Strategic Change and Transformation and with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business to assess, shape and facilitate strategic initiatives.This person will be involved early in the lifecycle of select key priorities and will act with a high degree of discretion and professionalism. Part of the role may also involve undertaking customised engagements on behalf of the Group Director of Strategic Change & Transformation.The role does not have direct line management responsibilities.What you’ll do Create and distribute high-quality materials for board meetings. Lead and follow up on agreed activities as required.Responding to briefs with creativity and precision, ensuring high-quality documents and reports. Synthesising information to create insightful materials that support decision making.Gather and collate information to complete detailed evaluations, outlining challenges, opportunities, and solutions to enable future strategies and operating models.Storytelling and crafting compelling narratives and materials from concepts and ideas. Logical thinking and engaging various audiencesLead tailored engagements whilst navigating ambiguityPlay an active role in budget managementProvide trusted, objective guidance and recommendations on critical decisions.Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders within Flutter Group and across the DivisionsUnderstand strategic context and produce high-quality presentations (and other materials) for Board and Ex-Co level discussion.Work strategically and collaboratively across the Group and Divisions About youExperienced in producing high-quality materials to support discussion at a Board / Ex-Co level.Excellent communicator – able to translate various strategic threads into joined up narrativeCulturally aware and with strong interpersonal skillsProven track record of understanding overall business objectives and working within a commercial, growth-focused business.Discrete and diplomatic and able to handle sensitive information and situations maturely and with the utmost professionalismProven experience to be objective, analytical and impartial with the ability to work to exacting timelinesStructured thinking and a clear ability to shape senior stakeholder’s decision makingStrong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skillsAble to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives on an issue and be able to adapt approach to achieve a successful outcome.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, logical approach, capable of engaging audiences at all levelsEffective, agile and versatile, capable of pivoting while maintaining utmost professionalism.Comfortable working with ambiguity with ability to take break down and simplify complex problems.
