About the Role:
We are currently seeking a professional and friendly Temporary Receptionist to join a busy team in Kilkenny. This is a front-of-house position ideal for someone with 1–2 years of reception or administrative experience, who enjoys being the first point of contact in a professional environment. The role is initially for 6 weeks, with a possibility of extension based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner
* Manage incoming calls and emails, directing queries to the appropriate departments
* Coordinate meeting rooms, appointments, and calendars
* Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
* Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area
* Assist with general administrative tasks as required
Key Requirements:
* 1–2 years’ experience in a similar receptionist or front-desk role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment
* Professional appearance and attitude
