Our team in Galway is seeking a senior HR professional to join our HR Department on a permanent basis.
This position will partner with the HR and site leadership teams to effect change by managing the development, implementation and continuous improvement of programs to increase employee satisfaction, positively impact retention and ensure alignment with corporate values and policies.

Your next challenge will be…
To provide comprehensive HR support to meet the organizational needs in accordance with Celestica's policies, procedures and objectives. This position will focus strongly on recruitment activities associated with our current structure and new business contracts.
This position will report to the Galway HR Manager.
Your day- to-day activities will include…
Provide accurate and expert advice on all aspects of people management, while following best practice, internal policies, complying with legislation and ensuring consistency across the business.
Participate in the design and establishment of organizational structures and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives.
Administer processes, policies, and programs related to compensation and benefits, recognition, learning and development, talent attraction, ethics and employee relations.
Coordinate the performance management process effectively ensuring all employees progress an effective objective and self-evaluation process.
Manage Celestica and Agency Workforce to ensure all agency recruitment requirements are met and in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Coordinate the corrective action process for the site, implementing internal investigations regarding possible violations of codes of conduct.
Provide advice and mentorship on case management in order to promote a positive, healthy, open working environment.
Develop, maintain and disseminate site/regional HR functional reports and metrics.
Act as a liaison for Payroll services

What do we expect from you?
Bachelor’s degree in related HR or Business field.
CIPD accredited.
+ 5 year’s in a HR Generalist role.
Recruitment experience is essential.
HR experience within the manufacturing industry essential.
Strong employment law knowledge and case management experience.
Excellent PC skills; High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience working with HR Information Systems and Time Management Systems; Success Factors and Excell as an advantage
Availability to support our production that functions 24:7.
What are we looking for?
Significant Recruitment experience where you have managed the whole candidate cycle from sourcing to closing.
Significant knowledge of Employment Legislation impacting the practice of human resources management.
Significant knowledge of company HR policies and practices.
Knowledge of HR Information Systems and KPI management.
Strong public presentation skills.
Fluency in English.
Ability to conduct a thorough, timely and unbiased internal investigation and provide practical recommendations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Ability to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects.
Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.
