AtkinsRéalis is a leading provider of engineering consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.
We are seeking Site Supervision Staff for positions in various counties throughout Ireland (Nationwide). Candidates will work on capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors.
Candidates with suitable experience can apply and will be considered for future positions nationally.
We require a Senior Resident Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Site Supervision activities;
Desirable Skills/Attributes:
* Experience in administering Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
* Chartered Engineer.
* Managing Safely in Construction Training.
* Enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible.
* Will to take responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.
* Excellent communicator, written and verbal in English.
Responsibilities:
* Drive project delivery on site, focusing on health & safety, time, cost management, and quality standards.
* Ensure works are carried out according to contract documents and specifications.
* Monitor and report on works progress to Employer's Requirements.
* Inform Employer's representative, project manager, and Uisce Éireann of site issues.
* Implement Uisce Éireann safety policies and standards on construction projects.
* Review and comment on HSQE documentation (RAMS, TMP etc.).
* Monitor compliance with contract health and safety requirements.
* Carry out weekly documented health and safety site reviews.
* Report accidents and incidents on site, assist with investigation, and implement corrective actions.
* Participate in Uisce Éireann HSQE team monthly inspections.
