* Work You’ll Do:
o Develop the software for new products and features as per demand from market, internal and external customers, competitor product analysis, and improvements.
o Implement customer requests and development projects on time and within budget.
o Maintain and standardize to improve and upgrade the features of existing software for various machines.
o Participate actively in the various development and design phases.
o Ensure software standardization to reduce variations.
o Work towards improving machine & human safety.
o Capable of working independently and providing out-of-the-box solutions.
o Provide on-shore and off-shore support on global projects for existing machines and new products.
o Identify and work on cost reduction & product improvement areas and take initiatives for improving product reliability.
o Coordinate with field service, aftermarket, testing, quality, sales, and validation departments as well as customers for troubleshooting and product upgrades.
o Work with vendors to identify root causes of problems and resolve them.
o Maintain records as per ISO and other applicable standards.
o Maintain various MIS records, data preparation, and analysis.
Team: The software development team is part of a global digital organization and will be focused on strategic, long-term technologies that differentiate us in the competitive landscape.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical or equivalent.
* 2 to 4 years of primary experience in industrial automation control systems with skills in motion control, PLC programming, HMI design, and field bus communications.
* Experience in IEC 61131-3 PLC programming and C/C++ languages.
* Higher-level languages like HTML5, JS, and Python will be an advantage.
* Experience of working with a global team will be advantageous.
* Should be ready to work in different time zones for global projects.
* Able to independently complete all specific responsibilities with minimal supervision.
* Experience in KEBA and B&R controllers will be an advantage.
