Your new role
As our new Senior Project Manager, you will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of all project activity through the life of our appointment in line with Ramboll’s Project Excellence Lifecycle (our Project Management system).
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Delivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring scope, contracts, budgets and QA procedures are all in place and maintained through the project lifecycle
2. Working on the production of technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules that comply with the scope of services
3. Working on the design process through design workshops and cluster meetings for small projects, or providing direct support as an Assistant Project Manager on larger schemes
4. Facilitating risk management workshops for both design and project related elements
5. Engaging with sub-consultants, typically quantity surveyors, architects, landscape architects, specialist designers and the like
6. Developing change within the project scope whilst ensuring delivery to Client satisfaction
7. Working with bid teams to support preparation of winning proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders
Your new team
With a base in Dublin, you will be part of Transport’s Programme and Project Management across UK and Ireland. You will work as part of a lively team, filled with people who are really excited about creating the transport options of the future. Our team is vibrant, innovative, international, and supportive. You will collaborate with your colleagues to play a critical role in defining and delivering on a on a wide range of transport schemes including civils/highways, rail infrastructure, active travel and aviation.

These include:
8. Minimum HNC/HND in a Building/Civil Engineering or related discipline
9. Preferably a chartered member of an appropriate construction focused association or institute (e.g. IEI/ICE)
10. Demonstratable project management experience with key infrastructure clients such as Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Dublin Airport Authority, the National Transport Authority of Ireland and local county councils.
11. Knowledge of construction and the design processes
12. Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
13. An understanding of various types of procurement methods and contract administration requirements including NEC3 and NEC4
