About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our senior management team. The ideal candidate will be organized, skilled in developing and implementing sales strategies, have strong leadership abilities, and a passion for enhancing customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to annual budgeting and manage areas within the Profit and Loss statement.
* Implement pricing policies, sales promotions, and oversee loss prevention measures.
* Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards and store policies across all locations.
* Oversee staff deployment, building maintenance, and facility management to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
* Enhance customer experience through events and loyalty programs that drive sales and engagement.
* Collaborate with various teams including Warehouse, EPOS, Finance, and Marketing to achieve business objectives.
* Lead, coach, and develop managers, supporting recruitment and training initiatives to build a high-performing team.
* Monitor sales performance, margins, and stock turnover to identify areas for improvement.
Key Tasks
* Report quarterly on commercial performance and provide action plans to address any areas of concern.
* Maintain optimal staffing levels to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
* Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) with managers to drive performance improvements and growth.
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
* Provide weekly performance updates to Directors to ensure transparency and accountability.

* Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in a leadership or management role.

* Able to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth and success.
