Supply Chain Manager, Donegal (fully office based) Our client is a manufacturing company seeking a Supply Chain Manager to be responsible for the whole function.
Salary flexible all depending on experience. Fully office based.
The Role:

Provide direction and leadership to the Supply Chain function, ensuring that all members of the team have goals aligned to the business objectives.
Ensure that the Planning function fully utilises all the planning tools available, to deliver the most efficient production plans, in line with Customer demand, including the efficient use of Labour.
Ensure that the Warehouse and Logistics functions deliver to Customers, on time and in full, the required RM & FG to satisfy their respective needs.
Using an ERP system, ensure that the Supply Chain function manages all materials requirements and transactions; including purchase, receipt, storage, issue and shipment in an accurate and timely way.
Where variance in any aspect of materials control is identified it must be investigated, reported and closed in line with the expectations of RAP UK Finance dept.
Ensure that the correct materials are delivered to the place of need and in advance of requirements, where alternate materials or other variation of the plan is required, it is imperative that this is clearly communicated and understood irrespective of the time of day.
Working with HR & Training functions, ensure that that the Resource Planning function operates in a strategic way to ensure that the required labour resources are in place across the manufacturing operation to ensure continuity of operations in the most cost-effective way in line with budgeted labour spend.
Ensure that all trials are planned and coordinated, by the Supply Chain function, through each stage of production, storage and shipment, ensuring accurate reporting of all aspects of the trial in the CRM database Maintain an accurate record of all aspects of New Product Development, which consumes Materials, Machine Time and Labour Resource, to support the receipt of maximum funding (Grant Aid) for all eligible R&D activity.
Identify and implement solutions to opportunities for improved performance in any aspect of business both within and outside the areas of responsibility.
Ensure that the Operations Manager is notified in advance of any circumstance within the scope of the Supply Chain Manager which may affect the efficient daily delivery of the site objectives.
Support the teams to sure they ensure they comply with all audit standards in relation to BRCGS / ISO /FSC / PEFC / FSAI Carry out all other reasonable requests.
The Candidate:
Ability to mentor and/or communicate effectively to new and existing team members. Strong people management experience Experience working within a production environment advantageous. Results orientated. Self-Motivated and Enthusiastic. Work well with others and on your own initiative.
