Refrigeration Technician at Grange Castle
Permanent Role, 39 Hours per week
The utilities refrigeration technician is responsible for the execution of the preventive and corrective maintenance program on site refrigeration equipment.
Main responsibilities:
* Carry out work as per schedule supplied by the Maintenance Coordinator, Planner and as per site policies, schedules and procedures.
* Troubleshoot problems with utilities refrigeration equipment as necessary and as directed by site supervisors.
* Complete site documentation before and after work tasks, as per relevant SOP.
* Liaise with Contractors during planned service maintenance.
* Participate in appropriate training and ensure that ITP meets the site requirements.
* Update MTL's as appropriate to ensure they are always relevant to the site needs and meet findings from periodic reviews.
* Carry out Periodic reviews of EWI/SOP to ensure documents are always current and valid.
Requirements:
* Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 Certificate.
* 2+ Years in maintenance and troubleshooting experience of refrigeration equipment in a Pharma environment and familiar with GMP requirements.
* Relevant Trade Qualification in Refrigeration, or A qualified industrial electrician which has transitioned to refrigeration.
* Qualified to a minimum of NFQ 5.
* Familiar and capable of delivering Service/Maintenance and repair of Water-cooled and Air-cooled Chillers and AC Units.
* Experience on large ton Centrifugal and Screw chillers would be a distinct advantage but training will be provided as required.
* Have experience with major Chiller manufacturers such as York/ Sabroe/ Trane/ Carrier/ Daikin.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
* Computer Skills (Excel, Word etc).
