About the Role
Ready to lead the charge in the booming data-driven economy? Fivetran is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to support our growth in the German market. As a Commercial AE in the region, you’ll build lasting customer relationships as a trusted advisor alongside closing high-impact deals and where you will negotiate confidently. You will strive to ensure customer success through seamless onboarding. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, developing expertise in cutting-edge data solutions while driving meaningful results in a key territory.
This full time hybrid position based out of our Dublin office.
What You’ll Do
Drive consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
Collaborate with channel partners and develop superior solutions that exceed customer expectations
Determine customer requirements and present appropriate solutions
Effectively communicate through excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Skills We’re Looking For
Account Executive experience selling SaaS solutions 2+ years
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Previous experience in Business Development
Proven ability to independently manage, develop and close New Business
A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
Experience collaborating and developing channel partner relationships with successful revenue generation
Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.

A passion for building customer relationships and closing new business opportunities
Confidence to close big ticket software deals ($100k to $250k ARR) to Commercial Organizations (1-2000 employees)
You are familiar with solution-based selling approaches and have experience managing complex sales processes
Excellent presentation and listening skills
