Job Title: Mechanical Engineer III
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer III to join our team on a 12-month contract.
Responsibilities:
* To manage the execution of projects within the group, ensuring timely completion and meeting performance goals.
* To carry out and implement equipment and process improvement initiatives, resulting in increased efficiency and cost savings.
* To ensure the performance of day-to-day preventative and demand maintenance activity to maintain manufacturing and utility equipment, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
* To establish performance goals, schedules, and timetables for activities with the Site Engineering Services Manager.
* To assist with the management and supporting of manufacturing / utility / facility project plans, coordinating maintenance of equipment to required maintenance schedules.
* To prepare capital expenditure requests for the facility, plant, and equipment, and develop monthly engineering metrics for operations, utilities, and facilities.
* To own the Site Maintenance Excellence Program, driving operational improvements and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
* To ensure successful agency, external, divisional, and corporate audits as relates to engineering compliance systems.
* To issue management reports as requested and on time, and manage relevant budgets within target.
* To cross-train within the department to ensure appropriate preventive maintenance schedules are achieved.
* To ensure safety standards are met, and safe working practices are adhered to.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Biomedical, Electronics) or a relevant discipline.
* 5+ years of experience in Facility and Utility Engineering, preferably in a cGMP environment.
* Demonstrated track record in managing budgets and re-designing manufacturing/utility/facility machinery to adapt to process conditions.
* Experience in areas such as Chilled Water, boilers, Potable Water distribution, Compressed Air Generation, LPHW, Building Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Electricity, Building Safety Systems, and Building regulations is desirable.
