Job Title: HR Advisor
The Opportunity
We are actively recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at a bespoke joinery and interior fit-out company with a global reputation for excellence.
About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our dynamic HR team in a truly Generalist role offering support across all areas of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, training & development, and HR Policy.
You will work closely with our Head of Department, providing expertise on a range of HR generalist issues across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing a smooth and efficient recruitment and onboarding process.
* Managing employee relations matters in a timely and efficient manner, including disciplinary investigations, grievances, absence management, and welfare issues.
* Assisting to devise and deliver a training and development strategy throughout the business.
* Advising employees and managers on HR policies and related issues, ensuring compliance with procedures, legislation, and best practice.
* Contributing to the development, revision, and implementation of new policies and procedures.
* Rolling out relevant training on HR policies and procedures to support the development of line manager people skills.
* Maintaining adequate HR records in line with GDPR and quality standards, and contributing to reports as required.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in a generalist HR role, with a sound knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice.
We are looking for a HR professional with a proactive and flexible approach to work, who can work under pressure, identify and resolve issues, and communicate effectively at all levels.
Ideally, candidates will be a graduate member of CIPD and have experience within construction, manufacturing, or a similar industry.
