We are seeking a highly skilled NFR Test Engineering Analyst to help design, implement, and enhance non-functional requirements (NFR) testing frameworks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies. Reporting to the QA Lead, in this role, you will help establish protocols, provide guidance, and help drive continuous improvement in NFR testing practices. While not directly executing tests, you will oversee the development of robust processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our software.
This is a hybrid position based in our Dublin 2 offices.
Job Description
What you will do:
Ensure that NFR-related testing policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to.
Align NFR testing activities with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Monitor testing processes to ensure compliance and quality is maintained.
Document all NFR testing activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
Review NFR testing results to identify improvement areas.
Support the QA Team in identifying improvement opportunities, and provide process feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, E2E QE team, and product management to ensure NFR requirements are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
Provide regular updates on NFR testing status, risks, and issues to the QA Lead.
Help facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to align NFR priorities and goals.
Identify and help with mitigating risks related to NFR testing in software systems.
Maintain and update a risk register for NFR testing and communicate risks to stakeholders.
Support defect management, severity analysis, and prioritization to ensure quality control.
Stay updated on trends, tools, and technologies in NFR testing.
Advocate for and help implement initiatives to improve NFR testing processes.
Track KPIs related to NFR testing.
Leverage data-driven insights to help prioritize NFR testing activities and inform decisions.
Ensure NFR testing processes align with GDPR, HIPAA, or other applicable standards.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on NFR testing.
Proficiency in NFR testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Selenium, and Postman.
Familiarity with Azure cloud, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development tools.
Good analytical skills with the ability to document processes meticulously.
Experience with tools such as ADO, JIRA, Asana or Trello.
ISTQB Certified Tester – Advanced Level (or equivalent) – preferred.
…and be experienced with:
Managing risk registers and defect management workflows.
Tracking KPIs for testing efficiency and effectiveness.
CI/CD tools and agile development practices.
