Legal Secretary / Assistant Ballincollig, Cork Full time and Part time both considered (in office role) Profile Our client is seeking a Legal Secretary with a minimum of 2 years relevant legal experience working in a fast-paced environment at a high level. The position is a full time role and it will encompass various areas of general practice but primarily conveyancing and family law.
Requirements: Bookkeeping / client account entries / postings and maybe paymentsRegistrations and certs of titleExperience in conveyancing and family law highly desirableAbility to prepare contracts and reply to requisitionsAbility to work under own initiative and manage diaries, review and organise files to a high standardA high level of competency in Word, Excel, Outlook and demonstrate strong attention to detailOpening and closing filesExperience working with multiple clientsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and prioritisation skillsCreating, amending and formatting legal documents and templatesIn the absence of solicitor, providing support with the day to day running of the practiceFile management, including scanning and photocopyingAbility to prioritise a large workloadAbility to multitask and work to strict deadlinesExcellent communication and telephone skillsA team player with a positive attitudeThe successful candidate will work mainly for a partner of the practice. Some experience in other aspects of general practice would be beneficial and salary is commensurate with competence and experience.
