Senior Risk Actuary Job Description
We are seeking a skilled actuary with a passion for risk management to join our Quantitative Risk team at Allianz plc as a Senior Risk Actuary.
This role plays a pivotal part in the Risk Management Function (RMF) and involves key responsibilities such as:
* Owning key risk processes, including the Recovery Plan, ORSA, and annual risk capital planning process.
* Providing meaningful inputs and reporting to deliver actionable insights for management.
* Optimising risk capital steering and allocation, including developing and validating Allianz plc's Solvency II Internal Model.
In this dynamic environment, you will work closely with a diverse and experienced team of actuarial and risk professionals to shape our risk management strategies and ensure continued success. This role has gained significance due to increasing complexity in financial markets, regulatory changes, and evolving risk landscape.
You will engage with Allianz Group's central functions in Germany to ensure alignment and integration of risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate key risk processes with internal and external stakeholders.
* Conduct scenario analyses and stress testing of key risks.
* Further develop the quantitative risk limit framework to mitigate risks effectively.
* Provide advanced contributions to capital management initiatives.
* Analyse and communicate risk capital arising from each Closing run under the Internal Model.

Minimum Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in risk management or actuarial roles, preferably with Solvency II experience.
* Third-level graduate of a relevant Actuarial, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable quantitative-technical discipline.
* Excellent communication, project management, and report-writing skills.
The position is based in Dublin, Ireland, and offers a hybrid working model. Appointment to this role is subject to Central Bank of Ireland requirements.
