About Chemist Connect Group:
Chemist Connect Group operates a network of 7 pharmacy locations across the north of Ireland. We are seeking an experienced Group Retail Manager to oversee and enhance our retail operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar multi-site retail role, preferably within the pharmacy or healthcare sector.
Role Summary:
As the Group Retail Manager, you will be responsible for driving the retail success of each location by overseeing sales performance, inventory management, customer service, staff development, and promotional activities. Your strategic and hands-on approach will ensure each location meets its financial and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales & Performance Analysis: Review and analyse sales data to support strategic decision-making and ensure each site meets financial targets.
* Stock & Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, maintain pricing files, and order new inventory as needed. Participate in decisions regarding product selection and category management.
* Promotions & Customer Engagement: Plan and execute monthly promotions, manage the loyalty scheme, and collaborate on social media and in-store promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
* Staff Development & Training: Train employees across all retail functions, including sales, inventory management, customer service, and cashier duties, ensuring high standards are met.
* Operational Compliance: Implement company pricing and ordering policies, and ensure each site complies with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Customer Service Leadership: Set a high standard for customer service, assisting customers with complex queries and promoting a positive shopping experience.
* Team Management: Delegate tasks effectively, maintain open communication with staff, and foster a positive work environment.
* Networking & Outreach: Develop new sales opportunities, engage with existing customers, and represent Chemist Connect Group professionally in all interactions.
* Travel Requirement: Regular travel to each location is required. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are essential.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in a multi-site retail management role, preferably in the pharmacy or healthcare sector.
* Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in sales analysis, category management, and promotional planning.
* Familiarity with stock management, ordering processes, and pricing.
* Ability to train and motivate teams to deliver excellent customer service.
* Organised, proactive, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
