Operational Excellence Leader
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Leader to drive our GROWTTH program forward. This is a critical role that will involve leading all aspects of the program, providing leadership and fostering cross-functional teamwork to exceed operational excellence targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the annual cost reduction project (IMPACT) to deliver planned year-on-year savings.
* Organize and lead GROWTTH events (Kaizens, VSM, SMED, A3, 5S etc) and systematize the output.
* Develop and implement training programs in Lean Operations and EXCELL Behaviours to improve the skills and behaviors of everyone in the company.
* Promote the GROWTTH program across the company and provide updates and reports to the wider Freudenberg Medical community.
* Evaluate and ensure that the continuous improvement team has the required capabilities and competencies.
* Maintain a positive team atmosphere and address people management issues effectively in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure that all changes are implemented in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO13485/FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to the continual improvement activities of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Energy Management systems.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering or related field.
* Qualification in Lean Operations (MSc, Black Belt or equivalent).
* A minimum of ten years of progressive experience with medical device manufacturing in an engineering and production environment.
* Five or more years in a leadership position leading the implementation of operations excellence.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and developing cross-functional teams and organizational talent.
* Experience working in a metric-driven culture.
* Knowledge of ISO standards including ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
