Head of Technical/Quality Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Culture: Develop a robust food safety culture and lead the Quality & Technical team.
* Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance with food safety regulations and standards, manage interactions with regulatory authorities, and ensure HACCP plans are up-to-date.
* Audits and Inspections: Ensure readiness for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
* Quality Systems and Incident Management: Oversee the Quality Management System, manage non-conformance investigations, implement preventive measures, and ensure robust traceability for incident management.
* Collaboration: Partner with production, supply chain, NPD, and sales teams to improve product quality and ensure compliance.
* Team Development: Lead, train, and manage the QA team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and food safety awareness.
* Governance: Ensure technical governance aligns with legal, internal, and customer requirements.
Requirements:
* Experience: 5+ years management experience in a relevant role in the food industry.
* Education: A degree in a related field.
* Skills: Food Science, Manage quality, Quality Control, Quality Management, Quality Assurance, BRC, Manage a team.
