Job Description
Aligns technology vision with business strategy by integrating company processes with the appropriate technologies. Responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing technological initiatives within the organization.
Maintains existing enterprise systems architecture while providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of information operations and core company values.
Participates in developing and tracking the annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations.
Collaborates with departments to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports organizational needs.
Identifies opportunities for incorporating AI and machine learning technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Approves, prioritizes, and controls projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
Utilizes current countywide and/or department-specific software to complete assignments.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Have at least eight years of full-time work experience in information technology, including three years of supervisory work experience in one of the following areas:
* Systems analysis and design
* Application installation and configuration or programming
* Project Management in an information technology system development and implementation
Alternatively, applicants may possess an associate's degree or equivalent education from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least ten years of full-time work experience and five years of supervisory experience as specified above.
Additionally, applicants who do not meet the above requirements but have had significant relevant work experience may still be considered for the role.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $186,240.00 - $249,525.00 per year.
