Client Profile: Large Accountancy Firm, Dublin North
Our client a high profile Dublin North Central is experiencing significant growth. They have a reputation for quality and delivery of client expectations. They have a wide range of clients both domestic and multinational, including some sizeable indigenous groups, quality SMEs and high-net-worth clients.
Role: Audit Manager
They are seeking to recruit a commercially focused Audit Manager to strengthen their Management team. Reporting at Partner level, the role will be focused on managing the relationship between the firm and its key clients. As such the role will be totally focused on providing larger clients with high-level audit and advisory support. Duties of the role will be divided into the following areas:
Audit & Advisory
1. Managing and planning audit assignments
2. Providing business and consultancy advice regarding company development
3. Advising clients regarding business and investment matters
4. Provide high-level technical advice to key clients
5. Manage billing, collections, and profitability per assignment
6. Manage client work in progress
Staff Management
7. Motivating and developing staff
8. Take full responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of Seniors
Business Development
9. Identify and market additional service offerings to existing clients
10. Prepare and present business tenders to develop your client portfolio
11. Target new clients by external networking
The role is challenging and will allow the candidate to become involved in providing solid business solutions for individual clients. The existing Partners are keen to recruit a candidate who will be part of their Senior Management team and who can contribute to the development of their firm.
Candidate Profile
12. Candidate should have a number of years experience at either manager or assistant manager level in a quality firm
13. They should have strong commercial skills and be capable of contributing to the growth of their division
14. They should have a commercial and competitive focus
