Senior Internal Communications Manager
Leads and directs the internal communications function, developing and executing strategic communication plans, managing complex projects, and providing counsel to senior management.
Responsibilities:
* Designs, develops, and implements comprehensive internal communication strategies.
* Leverages expertise in leading the Internal Communications team.
* Provides internal communications counsel to senior management across the organization.
* Delivers content for organizational events such as Townhalls and key reports.
* Monitors effectiveness of Internal Communications initiatives and channels through data analysis and responds to employee feedback.
* Manages internal communication response to crisis situations affecting organizational perception and reputation.
* Manages ownership and procurement of key internal communication platforms, channels, and technology.
* Oversees change communications for People Function projects and other major initiatives.
* Collaborates closely with People Function teams to enhance employee experience.
* Partners and aligns messaging of internal and external communications.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
* Specialist internal communications and/or change management education/experience.
* 8+ years of experience in internal/employee communications.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong analytical skills to measure and report on communication effectiveness.
* Writing skills: excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Communication skills: strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Creative skills: ability to devise communication strategies, particularly with a digital-first approach.
* Attention to detail: keen eye for accuracy and precision in all tasks.
* Experience in public sector or financial services industry.
