In this position, you will manage the team and ensure food production is carried out to the highest standards. This is a busy operation, and you will need to be very hands-on and customer-focused. This position may suit a sous chef looking to step up.
* This is a daytime role Mon-Fri, closed bank holidays and over the Christmas period *
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure full adherence to Hygiene and Safety in accordance with the Health and Safety policy.
2. Lead by example in excellent food production.
3. Assist in the training of existing and new staff in accordance with standards.
4. Pass on all knowledge that will help the property in its day-to-day running.
5. Maintain a high level of food quality that exceeds guests’ expectations with every dish.
6. Collaborate with the senior team in the compilation of creative and innovative menus.
