This is an office-based role with some travel required in Ireland/UK.

Europlan is seeking a full-time Health and Safety Manager for a Dublin-based role.
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Act as an HSE focal point for all project health, safety, and environmental activities.
* Oversee all aspects of Health and Safety within the health and safety teams.
* Liaise with HSE/Project Managers/Construction Managers to ensure H&S attendance at key project meetings.
* Liaise regularly with client HSA Representatives and satisfy HSA requirements.
* Support the HSSE Managers on our sites/Project Manager/Construction Managers with appropriate incident investigation, keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers.
* Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.
* Manage Corrective & Preventative Actions to effective closure and monitoring thereafter.
* Drive excellence throughout the group to provide a safe and compliant workplace.
* Undertake worksite inspections at the worksite and provide feedback on observations.
* Actively support the online induction process.
* Provide training to external clients and customers (e.g., schools, stadiums).
* Carry out internal and external HSA training as required.
* Assist in the investigation of incidents and near misses, liaising with clients to ensure root causes are identified and lessons learned are shared to improve H&S performance.
* Assist and advise Project Managers and Supervisors in the production of risk assessments.
* Support in the review of all necessary Method Statements and Risk Assessments associated with the entire work scopes, ensuring all activities have been risk assessed.
* Understand and promote Europlan culture throughout all phases of projects, setting a positive personal example.
* Set out clearly for implementation purposes all standards, procedures, and objectives for the project, from a Health, Welfare, and Safety perspective.
* This commences with a review and implementation—in full—of all PSDS and PSCS provisions. The setting up on the project of all company Health & Safety standards and procedures necessary to ensure a safe, secure environment for all employees and others.
* Consistent review and monitoring of the systems in operation on site—from induction to site closure—and these to include external audits and reports in addition to in-house inspections, reports, and training. Health, safety, and welfare cater for all aspects of employee and visitor participation on the project plus their exposure through use or otherwise of plant, equipment, vehicles, clothing, services, etc.
SKILLS REQUIRED
* Hold a Relevant Degree or higher in Occupational H&S and be a member of IOSH/NEBOSH.
* Background in Engineering preferable.
* At least 5 years of H&S experience.
* Train the Trainer.
* Instructor certs in MEWP, First Aid, Manual Handling, Working at Heights preferred.
* Experience in implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 aligned and preferably certified management systems.
* Familiarization and experience in writing protocols and procedures.
* Development and enforcement of occupational health controls and protocols for field-based teams on construction sites.
* Experience supporting field engineers/staff, Engineering design appreciation, and Construction experience.
