At EY, our Business Transformation Consulting team works with financial services clients to reimagine and redesign the inner workings of their operations, enabling them to deliver on their corporate strategy, achieve cost and performance efficiencies, and identify and capture growth opportunities for the future. We are currently seeking to hire into our Business Transformation Customer Team at Manager level.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Understand EY’s service offerings and actively support in delivering across our range of services.
* Utilise your skills in structured problem solving, business analysis, analytics, design thinking, and lean process improvement to help our clients drive profitability and performance improvement.
* Identify areas for process improvement across existing ways of working, including system, process, or people changes.
* Effectively analyse and define business requirements through stakeholder engagement and reviewing existing processes.
* Manage people and project teams & engage directly with client stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
* Be involved in projects across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from business case development to project execution and close-out.
* Help identify problems, opportunities, and ideate methods for improving existing business processes and workflows.
* Communicate effectively with the EY engagement team, the client, and internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise and develop others, effectively communicate, manage budgets, timelines, and plans.
* Work confidently with clients to support building trusted relationships.
* Stay abreast of latest Financial Service industry trends to drive innovation.
To qualify for the role, you must have
* Strong understanding of core business operations gained through delivery of projects in strategy, operating model design, lean process improvement, and agile design transformation.
* Excellent client relationship management skills, gained through prior consulting roles or within financial services/technology organisations.
* 5 years proven experience in delivering transformation programmes in Financial Institutions.
* Strong written & verbal communication skills; with experience in presenting to key client stakeholders.
* Understanding of trends and implications on the Financial Services industry.
Ideally, you will also have
* Strong numeric analysis, presentation, process mapping, and requirement-gathering skills.
* Proven analytic and workshop facilitation skills.
* Experience in developing structured presentations using PowerPoint and analytic skills using Excel.
* Strong academic record including a relevant third level degree from university.
* Lean six sigma and/or BCS training/certification an advantage.
* Project Management and/or Agile certification is an advantage.
