We have an exciting opportunity for an Insurance, Risk & Compliance Manager to join Suir Engineering Ltd.
This position can be based in our Waterford or City West, Dublin office.

What you will be doing?
Manage the renewal, procurement and day to day operation of the business insurance programme.
Work closely with Suir legal department to review insurance provisions within contracts and other various agreements.
Maintain and develop relationships within the business to ensure that they are supported and there is a high-level understanding of insurance requirements/policy coverage.
Continuously drive improvements in systems, policies and procedures and internal best practice.
Deal with all insurance related queries which come in from the business.
Management of insurance claims.
Engage with procurement to review sub-contractors' insurances.
Manage and develop external relationships with Insurance Brokers/Underwriters and other Service Providers.
Continuously develop a strong technical knowledge of general insurance covers.
Compliance: review company policies on an annual basis and update/amend same where required.
Is this the job for me?
10+ years' experience in insurance advisory position with proven experience in the construction insurance sector.
Minimum CIP qualification and member of The Insurance Institute of Ireland Experience in the placement and management of corporate insurance programmes.
Excellent relationship and management skills and s high level of technical proficiency to enable communication in technical terms with relevant personnel.
Detailed knowledge of the issues and developments in respect of construction/ corporate insurances.
Be an excellent communicator, responsive and innovative, highly organised.
