Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to manage existing customers and develop new customers for our full portfolio of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and cultivate relevant contacts from C-level through to technical influencers and drive revenue for various solutions offered by Auxilion.
* Build strong relationships with customers at all levels.
* Research the market and related competitive products.
* Work closely with technical Pre-Sales, Architect, and Consulting resources to understand customer requirements and position relevant solutions.
* Present service offerings in a structured professional way face-to-face.
* Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via in-person meetings, telephone calls, and emails.
* Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
* Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries.
* Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential new markets.
* Negotiate agreement terms and close sales.
* Gather market and customer information.
* Represent the organisation at trade exhibitions and events.
* Negotiate price, costs, delivery, and specifications with buyers and managers.
* Challenge objections to get customers to buy.
* Advise on forthcoming new service and product developments and discuss special promotions.
* Liaise with the delivery organisation to ensure smooth operations.
* Record and report sales information on the company CRM system.
* Review personal sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
* Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
* Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide customers with proposals and quotations.
* Feed future buying trends back to the business.
* Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
* Attend weekly/monthly/quarterly sales meetings to report progress and win.
Requirements
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in a solutions sales role within the ICT sector.
* Experience selling into larger customers (min 250-1000 users) and comfortable talking to all levels within the customer from C-Suite through Senior and Mid-Level management and technical staff (including those outside the IT function).
* Experience responding to complex RFPs (ideally private and public sector).
* Adept with CRM and Microsoft Office.
* Great ability to network within an organisation.
