The Quality Assurance Auditor reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager within Ashdale Care, playing a crucial role in ensuring high-quality care standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, conduct thematic audits of allocated homes in line with organisational policy and reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
* Meet with staff members to discuss their understanding of policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Review placements with young people, gathering insights into their experiences and identifying areas for improvement.
* Provide written audit reports on findings, highlighting deficits in core mandatory training and suggesting action plans.
* Collaborate with home management teams to complete monthly thematic self-audits and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
Requirements
* Mandatory qualifications include a minimum Level 7 degree in Social Care or Social Work.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the National Standards for Children's Residential Centres and Child Care Regulations.
* At least three years' experience in a children's residential environment or social work setting.
* A minimum of one year's experience in an auditing capacity.
