Marketing and Communications Programme Executive - 18 Month Contract - Dublin
We have an exciting opportunity in the Communications Department for a Marketing and Communications Programme Executive. The Communications team plans and implements strategic and imaginative communications activities that effectively contribute to the achievement of business objectives. This includes corporate communications, programme communications, and consumer awareness.
The Department comprises a Marketing Communications team, a Digital Marketing team, and a Marketing Campaigns team. This role will report to the Marketing and Communications Manager and play a key role in the Communications Department.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert marketing and communications advice and services to assigned management and teams.
* Implement a strategic communications plan promoting the organization's role, objectives, and achievements.
* Support press office functions, including proactive media relations, responding to press queries, and spokesperson training.
* Coordinate the content origination and publication of significant reports.
* Provide marketing and communications support for flagship activities such as major events and awards.
* Work with the procurement team to appoint marketing and communications agencies to support the Communications team.
* Define metrics for programmes and monitor, review, and adjust ongoing marketing programmes.
* Conduct target audience research, gathering insights to inform communications strategies and tactics.
* Manage the organization's brand assets and portfolio to ensure their full and proper use.
* Collaborate closely with the wider Communications team to maximize communications and content effectiveness.

Essential Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
* A degree (a minimum of NFQ Level 7 or greater) in Marketing, Business, or another relevant discipline.
* Minimum three years’ directly relevant experience working in a comparable marketing and/or communications function.
* Highly competent in all aspects of the full marketing communications mix.
* Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team, building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to represent the organization in a public forum.
* Well-developed IT skills.
Desirable Requirements
* Proficient in written/spoken Irish language.
* Knowledge/experience of working in the public sector.
* General knowledge of sustainable energy and the renewable energy sector.
