Assistant Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Project Manager to support our project/programme delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the project manager in ensuring projects/programmes are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the project manager in delivering projects/programmes safely, on time, to quality standards, and within budget.
* Ensure that sustainability and innovation targets are met through a multidisciplinary approach and close liaison with internal functions and external service providers and stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain relationships with design and wider consultant teams to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
* Manage parts of projects independently, with oversight from other Project Managers.

Requirements
* Experience in contract and commercial management desirable.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions.
* Demonstrable experience of Portfolio and/or Programme management and delivery of large programmes/projects.
* Relevant third-level qualification and or accreditation in Project Management, Civil Engineering or Construction.
* Demonstrated people management ability, proactive development, motivation, and engagement of staff.
* Experience in the water, utilities, or similar industries is desirable.
