Mulligans Pharmacy is a family-run business, established in 1957, that operates in the retail pharmacy sector, occupying 19 sites across the southeast and east of Ireland. We currently employ over 250 staff in Waterford, Kilkenny, and Clonmel.
Position Overview
We are recruiting a Store Manager for our Ferrybank Store, Waterford, for five days a week. This is a permanent position best suited to candidates looking to develop their retail and people management skills. We seek applications from candidates with a minimum of one year of retail management experience. This is an exciting and positively challenging role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Full training will be provided in all areas of the role.
Hours
5 days Monday-Saturday, working hours between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Qualifications
This role is suited to someone who has retail, pharmacy, or hospitality experience in a supervisory or management role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Promote a sales culture and ensure that team members work towards achieving and exceeding store targets.
* Ensure store standards are of the highest quality.
* Work towards achieving KPIs.
* Collaborate closely with your area manager and follow through on agreed-upon objectives.
* Drive customer care through ongoing product training.
* Motivate, develop, and train your team.
* Formally appraise team members regularly and encourage staff development.
* Ensure all company guidelines, procedures, and policies are implemented and adhered to.
* Be aware of and ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Welfare legislation.
