Our client, a state body operating within the financial services and asset management sector, seeks a Finance Systems Manager to oversee finance systems operation and strategic direction, ensuring efficiency, integration, and continuous improvement.
This role involves managing key finance platforms, troubleshooting issues, leading system upgrades, and supporting process automation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee core finance systems, including general ledger, expenses, procurement, and fixed assets.
* Manage system integrations and ensure smooth operations.
* Lead system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with IT teams.
* Provide user support, training, and maintain system documentation.
* Drive process improvements, automation, and digital transformation.
* Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
* Supervise and develop a team of two direct reports.
* Generate and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
* 4+ years' experience in finance systems management.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Experience with system upgrades or implementations (AI/RPA knowledge is a plus).
* Understanding of finance controls and process automation.
* Experience with Infor SunSystems and Infor Q&A is advantageous.
* Accounting or systems qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are a plus.
