Key Account Manager for Supermarkets
Uniplumo, Ireland's largest pot plant, bedding and wholesale nursery, seeks a highly skilled Key Account Manager to lead our supermarket key account management efforts.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and be responsible for building client-specific retail trade plans, evaluating and proposing pricing and commercial terms and conditions. You will analyze and manage commercial risk, plan negotiation strategies, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Develop client-specific retail trade plans and negotiate commercial terms and conditions.
* Analyze and manage commercial risk associated with key accounts.
* Plan and execute negotiation strategies to achieve business objectives.
* Cordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful contract negotiations and closure.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and weaknesses in Uniplumo's range.
Requirements
* Proven experience working with supermarkets at category management level (minimum 2 years).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Strong commercial awareness and numerical analysis capabilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and commercial drive.
What We Offer
* Competitive salary: €40,000 - €50,000 per year.
