This Chartered Consulting Engineers has been operating for over 15 years. They offer services such as Civil and Structural Engineering, Traffic Management, Road Safety Engineering, Expert Witness Duties and Health & Safety (PSDP). Due to ongoing demand and growth in the sector, our client is seeking to expand our Sligo team.
Your new role
You'll be required to assist in the design, supervision, and monitoring of drainage projects, maintaining design folders. Responsible for the preparation of contract specifications and drawings. Surveying and site inspections. Preparation and review of preliminary designs and reports using a variety of computer packages and subsequent preparation of detailed design drawings and specifications. Contribute to the project team on a day-to-day basis. Direct communication and meetings with clients. Implementing the company’s ISO policies and procedures. Assist in the preparation of tenders. Knowledge of Civil 3D and drainage design suites.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification in civil engineering. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in civil/infrastructural projects. Drainage experience is essential. Have a good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations. Be capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping work records. Competent in the use of AutoCAD. Knowledge of the following is an advantage: Civil 3D, PDS, Arcady, PICADY, LinSig.
