Java Tech Lead Daily Rate contract with leading Insurance Company A fantastic opportunity to join a leading American insurance company based in Dublin City Centre.

This role requires 4 days per week onsite.
12 month contract (renewal likely) - €600-€650 per day - Must be based in Ireland About Your New Job Lead a team of onshore and offshore engineers to design, build, and support core applications.
Work closely with product managers, architects, and developers to scope and execute key features across the full stack.
Oversee the development of microservices in Java and Spring Boot, deployed on AWS cloud services.
Drive technical excellence, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
Take full ownership of products/features, from development through to deployment.
Define and implement automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based solutions.
What Skills You Need Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Expertise in AWS cloud services and DevOps practices.
Solid understanding of best practices in software development, testing, and CI/CD.
Experience leading teams and working in Agile environments.
A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
