You will analyse the system in an Agile way, focus on functional software needs and decompose complex requirements into User Stories that the scrum team can work on. Where will you be based and what business will you support?Based in Dublin, you will be joining our geographically dispersed ComLIMS team, one of our IT Solutions that manages our commercial, sales and communications of our users and clients across laboratories. How can you help us? You will:Collaborate with business analysts and architects, through and Agile approach- on functional analysis, solution design, implementation plans, gap and data analysis;Write clear and well-structured specifications (user stories) for bugs and new functionalities including detailed acceptance criteria;Follow up with user stories end to end in the scrum team you are involved in, including: user story priority management, preparing and leading various scrum meetings, assisting developers and QA team members during user story implementation phase;Closely interact with QA team members during acceptance criteria refinement meetings, test case reviews, sprint demo meetings;Assist business analysts in UML modelling and service contract creation and review;Provide assistance to the third line support of the application;Manage bug reports;Assist with the qualification of releases in close cooperation with the program's release management team and key stakeholders;Manage documentation with a high quality level: release notes, second line support release presentations, online help, etc; Work on reporting, including reporting on delays and implementation risks. QualificationsAre you our kind of extraordinary?You have:At least 3 years of experience within software development, either as a functional analyst, business analyst or project manager; Hands- on SQL experience; Understanding of, and experience with UML;Good listening and communication skills (oral and written); Natural ability to go into details; Strong focus and commitment; Strong interest to go further; Critical/analytical mind set; Problem-solving skills; Clear and concise documentation and specification skills; Relationship building skills and facilitation skills;Self-management including time and priority management skills. What else should I know? The following skills are an advantage:Experience with Scrum; Knowledge of Service-Oriented-Architecture; Experience with software development management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps);Experience in testing the functionalities delivered by development teams.
