About the Role
Make a real difference through your work at Acquired Brain Injury Ireland (ABI Ireland). We are seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to cover areas including Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assume responsibility for psychological assessment of clients within the Organisation and potential clients.
* Design and provide rehabilitation programmes and support clients, families, staff, and others.
* Provide professional/clinical support to other frontline professions as appropriate.
* Develop new innovative responses on behalf of the Organisation to the needs of clients with ABI Ireland and their families in the general community.
Requirements:
* University degree or diploma to a QQI level 8, recognised by the PSI, to a 1st or 2nd class honours standard.
* Post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the PSI.
* At least 5 years relevant post-graduate experience.
* Driving licence with access to own car - travel is required.
* Possess a high standard of professional attainment.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Specific skills and experience in the assessment of and intervention with people with neurological and other physical diagnosis.
* Post qualification experience of working with adults with an acquired brain injury or other neurological conditions.
* Experience in provisions of support using a Positive Behaviour Support approach.

* Salary range from €88,543 - DOE - with annual increments.
