Job Title: Branch Manager
The Branch Manager exercises complete responsibility for developing and managing a business operation that increases counter sales, B2B sales, profitability, market share, customer, and employee satisfaction by directing, coordinating, and monitoring all sales, operation, and personnel development activities at his/her Branch.
The ideal candidate should have a third-level qualification and at least two years of management experience in Car Rental or five years of management experience in a similar industry.

Experience in B2B sales is required as this is a hybrid Sales/Operations role.

Responsibilities include:
* Assessing local market conditions, identifying current and prospective sales opportunities, and developing forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans for the branch
* Directing all operational aspects of the branch, including operations, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales, in a manner that supports reaching profitability goals
* Ensuring all areas of work performance or departments are properly staffed and directed, with particular emphasis on continuous improvement
* Ensuring additional sales are monitored and agreed targets are being adhered to
* Liaising with necessary teams to ensure ongoing training and improvements are met
* Monitoring of all damage and repairs to agreed targets
* Ensuring all fleet is serviced and in good working order
* Managing overdues and records of follow-up
* Liaising with appropriate departments
* Overseeing on-site valeting and meeting agreed auditing standards and monthly reporting, including damage recovery, car cleanliness, and fuel accounting
* Providing training, coaching, development, and motivation to bring out the best in each team member
* Maintaining and enforcing HR Policies and Procedures
* Conducting yearly appraisals with all staff members by the deadline required by HR
* Assisting in developing branch and organisational objectives, and also in formulating policies and budgets
* Communicating effectively with other branches and senior managers by sharing information on effective practices, business opportunities, and needs
* Addressing customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
* Managing the branch honestly, following high ethical standards, and complying with all Health & Safety regulations
* Ensuring the safekeeping of company assets, including equipment, inventory, and cash, are maintained and monitored daily
* Particular emphasis on security and control systems
* Evaluating regularly the effectiveness of the branch operation, to see that policies are being observed and that goals are being attained
