About the Role:
We are seeking a Facilities Team Leader (FTL) to oversee the management of internal staff and external contractors at a prestigious head office site in Hemel Hempstead .
This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure high standards of service delivery, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The FTL will be responsible for: Leading a team and maintaining excellent customer service.
Ensuring statutory compliance, PPM routines, and accurate record-keeping.
Driving improvements in the Fluke CAFM system and addressing non-compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full statutory compliance across the site.
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring completion within set deadlines.
Supervise maintenance, cleaning, and security operations.
Support client audits and provide expert technical advice.
Manage Arriba system for invoice and purchase order processing.
Hold suppliers accountable for SLAs, KPIs, service levels, and costs.
Assist with asset management and subcontractor supervision.
Handle recruitment and selection of the cleaning and maintenance team.
Ensure site compliance with F-Gas regulations and safety permits (hot works, working at height, etc.).
Monitor stock levels and ensure budget compliance.
Maintain up-to-date records of subcontractor inductions and competency .
Ensure correct uniform and PPE usage by all team members.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: General knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Refrigeration systems.
Technical Skills:
Fire alarms, AHUs, cooling towers, lifts, cranes, pressure systems, and more.
IT Skills:
Familiarity with CAFM software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook .
Leadership:
Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
Performance Metrics:
Cleaning audit scores: Minimum 90% .
Monthly KPI scores:
Minimum 80% .
